The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) recently announced the expansion of the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and Their Families (CoScho) through revised implementing guidelines signed on June 10, 2026.

For Academic Year 2026–2027, a total of 10,789 scholarship slots will be available nationwide, consisting of:
- 3,965 continuing scholars
- 6,824 new scholarship beneficiaries
